Quantum Entanglement Communications

I read an article about Quantum Entanglement as applied to telecommunications.

Quantum Entanglement Communications and cryptography will revolutionize humanity

It’s instantly clear to me that this is the future… and in more ways than one.

Quantum entanglement communication could prove vital if human beings begin to colonize other planets.
Will we have more than one planet some day? Quantum entanglement communication and cryptography could prove vital.

Quantum entanglement can increase fidelity to 100%, decrease the lag time to 0%, and doesn’t have to follow a line of site for connection.

Further than that, one day humanity may venture to the stars (and planets). The closest system (which doesn’t seem to be useful for anything) is Alpha Centauri, being over four light years away. To clarify, that means it would take over four years for any light-based message to reach that system. It would take just as long for to hear a reply (assuming they replied immediately). A quantum entanglement. telephone, on the other hand, would take one moment.

Quantum entanglement also has uses for encryption as a “true key.” If a person had a quantum entanglement. device on their person, no hacking in the world could reproduce the same key in any way. In other words, you can’t copy the “code” that quantum entanglement devices use. Only one particle corresponds (inversely) to another. There’d be no way to cheat quantum entanglement security systems besides stealing the original key.

Einstein and Quantum Entanglement Communications

Albert Einstein famously called quantum entanglement spooky action at a distance. That’s because one can communicate between any two points in space instantaneously regardless of the distance. The speed of quantum communication literally defies Einstein’s theory of relativity because communications are outside of space time and not bound by the speed of light.  Spooky as it may be, quantum entanglement is changing the way people think about computers and telecommunications.

Quantum entanglement has already been demonstrated in the laboratory to “transmit” faster than the speed of light. Testing it on the ISS is just further proof of the concept at a distance. Are you feeling spooked out?

  1. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.

    1. Thank you for your comment, ZZRYUXN. It’s hard to find a picture for non-locality. I chose a space photo because this technology could prove useful for communicating with other worlds.
